AQUAMAN Horror Spin-Off THE TRENCH In The Works At Warner Bros.

Although A sequel for Aquaman has not been yet officially announced by Warner Bros. yet the studio is pushing forward with a horror spin-off starring the monsters of the deep dark Trench.

Following the billion-dollar success of Aquaman, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that, in lieu of a sequel, Warner Bros. is already in the early stages of developing a spinoff to the DC blockbuster which will be based on the extremely terrifying and unquestionably deadly Trench.

After Aquaman got his welcome to the billion-dollar club, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Warner Bros. instead of a sequel are in fact in the early stages of developing a spin-off to it’s successful DC blockbuster, and it will center around the cold deep dark trench.


Newcomers Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald that assisted on the making of J.J. Abrams’s Super 8 and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, well helm the script for The Trench, which is described as Jaws but with trench monsters in the DC’s Extended Universe

James Wan and Peter Safran are set to produce .

THR confirmed some of the details concerning the spin-off, like the fact that it will take place solely in the Kingdom Of The Trench, which we didn’t much of in Wan’s film. and the cast of Aquaman will not be taking that adventure.
